Hill Climbing! Hanging out with the Children of Kintamani – Day 2

If you are afraid of heights, hanging out with the boys of Songan will be one of the last things you’ll like to do. Unless you can resist their charm and playfulness, you’ll definitely find yourself rolling around with them at the top of a hill or even a mountain. That’s where Dewi and I found ourselves when on a field trip with S & D today.

We started the day at E’s aunty’ warung (shop), having tipat tahu (rice cakes and tofu in peanut sauce) for breakfast. E helps her aunty sell breakfast in the morning. Through the day she helps sell petrol and tops the motorcylces up for customers.

Our host, Pande of Anak Alam found two new pets this morning and it soon became the attraction of the home.
