Mintio’s art practice focuses on light and time-based medias – photography and cinematography – to condense space and time, constructing fantastical spaces and other-worlds in her artworks. In this exhibition she took the most grappling archive material – the footage recorded by Murni’s partner Edmondo Zanolini alias Mondo of her death and the final moments before – and interweave it with a series of cinematic tableaus, bringing glimpses of her personality and her relationship with Mondo.
