Water Hyacinth Weaving Workshop

After weeks of harvesting and drying the water hyacinth from Lake Batur, the plant is now ready to be a canvas to works art. Kabul had cut and trimmed chicken wire to serve as a frame for the kids to weave the dried water hyacinth material. These woven frames will then be used as a shell for the zoetrope of the public installation of “Danau Imajinasi Kami | Our Lake of Imagination“.
